Let's Dance
To my wedding songs
Hello Substack friends,
We’ve created a Spotify list of the songs Big Johnson and I played at our wedding. I hope it makes you as happy as it makes me. Every song on this list makes me dance.
I use to attend a ballet and jazz class regularly during my 30’s and 40’s and loved it so much. Dancing around the house is all I do these days, but I’d love to make it back to a studio one day. Dancing makes me happy.
What makes you happy?
I’ve been listening to a couple of Ann Patchett book recommendations on audio and I thought I would share them with you. “If You Are In My Office It’s Already Too Late: A Divorce Lawyer’s Guide To Staying Together”. James J. Sexton is very funny and has great advice. And as someone who suffers from auto immune diseases, I listened to “The Ladies Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness”, by Sarah Ramey. I felt heard and seen by her book, but it does go on and on a bit.
Amazon Prime has a great documentary, “Murder 101”. I highly recommend it. Wish the class had been available when I was in high school. And “Professor T” on Amazon is fabulous! It’s originally a PBS/Masterpiece Theatre program.
Kirkus is the industry review that all the book sellers and librarians read, so here’s what Kirkus said about “The Big Day”
A funny, original look at modern marriage for any reader who’s thought twice about taking a trip down the aisle - Kirkus
“…a delightful story about commitment, patience, and self-trust.” Kirkus

Such a fun playlist!
This is all good stuff.
